Social & Fundraising

Rugby Sport for the Disabled Association (RSDA) exists to provide and promote sport and recreation for disabled people, but it also has a strong social side, which helps to bind the association together, provide a friendly club atmosphere and also to provide much-needed funds.

We have a thriving membership from throughout Warwickshire and the neighbouring Midlands counties

You can support Rugby Sport for the Disabled Association (RSDA) at no extra cost to yourself by shopping online through Give as you Live. You simply register once, listing us as your charity of choice, and then, whenever you shop online at any one of over 4000 retail outlets, RSDA will earn valuable commission.

Splash Nights

These are held two or three times a year and are an opportunity to have more fun in the pool than our normal sessions. We normally have the whole pool at The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Centre from 6 till 7pm for swimming and similar forms of recreation. This is then followed by more fun, games and leisure pastimes in the cafe area where you can purchase refreshments.

Sometimes a single lane is roped off and the opportunity is taken to time swimmers for competition purposes or to run the association swimming championship, but by and large the whole pool is given over to the pursuit of fun.

Family and friends are welcome. Again a raffle helps to boost our funds.

Christmas party

This is always a popular event, featuring a disco, lots of party games and a buffet, usually with an added attraction such as Fancy Dress or a silly hat competition
