Rugby Job Centre

One of our helpers, Tina Gray, persuaded her colleagues at Rugby Job Centre to go to extraordinary lengths to raise money for Rugby Sport for the Disabled Association (RSDA). The donation was timed to coincide with The Paralympics
The activities that they chose  to raise the money were:
An auction, an auction of promises, A Euro 2012 sweepstake, A Team GB Olympic Medal haul sweepstake, a book sale, a car boot sale and eyebrow threading. (The thought of it is enough to make you wince isn't it?)
Altogether they raised £1050, which was presented to us in The Clem Griffiths Sports Hall during one of our Saturday Morning sessions
Pictured are Tina, with RSDA member Iris Bingham, who was a Paralympic Torch Bearer and chairman Bernard Purdy. Iris is holding the torch that she carried in the Paralympic Torch Relay form Stoke Mandeville to London.
Many thanks to Tina and her colleagues
